When applying for a visa, such as a work or tourist visa, you'll need the appropriate invitation letter based on your travel purpose.

Here are 2 types of invitation letters:

1. Business invitation letter:

A business invitation letter is required for business and work visa applications. Typically issued by a host company for events or meetings, it should:

  • Be addressed to the general immigration office.

  • Include your name, occupation, and passport or ID number.

  • Specify arrival and departure dates matching your application.

  • Explain how your expenses will be covered.

  • Include the company's name, address, and signature.

To ensure 100% accuracy, you can download our business invitation letter template and ask your host to fill it out and return it to you.

Note: they should only fill out the first page. The second page is just an example for your reference.

2. Personal invitation letter:

For tourist and family visit visa applications, a personal invitation letter is necessary. Usually sent by a friend or family member hosting your visit, it should:

  • Be addressed to the immigration office.

  • Include your name and passport or ID number.

  • Provide your host's name, address, and contact details.

  • Be signed by your host.

  • Specify your planned arrival and departure dates and outline your visit itinerary.

  • Explain how your expenses will be managed.

To ensure 100% accuracy, you can download our personal invitation letter template and ask your host to fill it out and return it to you.

Note: they should only fill out the first page. The second page is just an example for your reference.

Don't forget to print a copy of your invitation letter as you may need to present it at the embassy or visa application center.
