A travel itinerary is often requested when you apply for a travel document as it legitimizes your travel purpose by providing the government with detailed information on the activities you plan to do during your trip.

In this article, you'll learn about:

Travel itinerary requirements

These elements are important to include when creating a travel itinerary:

✅ Date of the itinerary

✅ Applicant’s name

✅ Dates of all the activities you’re going to do

✅ A detailed explanation of each activity

✅ Contact information for each activity. This could be the name, cellphone, and email of the host or hotel

✅ The address of each location you’re visiting and staying in

📌 The information you'll provide on your travel itinerary needs to match the information you wrote on the application form.

📌 Your travel itinerary scan needs to be in color with no glares, blurs, or obstructions covering the information.

📌 Upload a PDF, JPEG, or PNG format.
