A refund can not be granted if we have sent your application to the government.
This means your application's status is either:
The government is reviewing your application
Your documents are ready for download
This applies to Standard, Rush, and Super-Rush processing times.
If the government rejects your application, you won't receive a refund unless you purchased Denial Protection with your order.
Appointment-required visas
A 100% refund is granted if we have not paid the embassy or visa processor.
This means your application's status is either:
Action required: Finish application
Action required: Provide more information
We’re reviewing your application
We’re scheduling your appointment
A refund can not be granted when we have paid the embassy or visa processor.
This means your application's status is:
We’ve scheduled your appointment
Passport Renewals
A 100% refund is granted if we have not submitted your application to the government.
This means your application's status is either:
Incomplete: Actions Needed – Your form still needs to be completed
Application in Review – We’re reviewing your application and will contact you if anything is needed
Action Required: Provide More Information – We’re waiting on additional details from you
Prepare for Shipping (USPS option only) – Your documents are being prepared for mailing but haven’t been sent yet
If there is a mistake on your new passport – We will proactively work with you to correct errors
A refund can not be granted when your application has been submitted to the government.
This means your application's status is either:
Waiting on Government (online option only) – Your application is now with the government for processing
Order Closed (online option only) – Your new passport is on its way
Order Closed (USPS option only) – Your USPS renewal package has been sent and will arrive soon
This applies to Standard, Rush, and Super-Rush processing times.
If the government rejects your application, you won't receive a refund unless the government refunds the official application fee. This is at the discretion of the government agency.
iVisa+ subscriptions
If you’re a new iVisa+ subscriber, you’re eligible for a full refund if:
You purchased iVisa+, but haven't used the subscription benefits within 30 days of purchasing
If you're an existing iVisa+ subscriber, you’re eligible for a refund of your subscription cost if:
Your plan auto-renews, but you haven’t used the iVisa+ benefits within 30 days of the renewal date

How to request a refund
Before you request a refund, you must:
Check your eligibility in the iVisa Refund Policy
Make sure you’re logged into your iVisa account
Once completed, request your refund by either watching our tutorial or reading our 5-step guide. Choose the option that works best for you!

Note: If you connect via website chat, click the chat icon in the bottom right corner of your screen (see images for reference), then select "Contact Support."
2. Select "Yes" and tell iVy, our AI assistant, that you want a refund. iVy will check your eligibility and direct you to the next step.
Note: If your application isn't eligible, you won't be able to continue.
3. If it's eligible, select a reason for canceling and follow the instructions to get your refund form. Your registered email and order number must be ready, you'll need those details to proceed
4. Once you’ve submitted the form, you've requested a refund!
Important:
It can take up to 14 business days for your refund to reflect in your account
If you purchased denial protection and the government rejects your application, we will automatically refund you the amount you paid, minus the Denial Protection fee
When will the refund appear in your account
Please allow up to 3 business days for us to process your refund and up to 14 business days (Mondays to Fridays) for your refund to reflect in your account.
Once we approve your refund, it's sent immediately. If you don't see the money in your account after 14 business days, please contact your bank.
