Before you continue:

  • Government fees are non-refundable unless you purchased Denial Protection

  • A refund can be requested within 3 months of a purchase date

Select the product you purchased to see if you're eligible:

A refund can not be granted if we have sent your application to the government.

This applies to Standard, Rush, and Super-Rush processing times.

If the government rejects your application, you won't receive a refund unless you purchased Denial Protection with your order.

Appointment-required visas

*Refunds depend on the stage of the application process. Additional conditions may also apply to specific travel documents.

  • We’re scheduling your appointment

A refund can not be granted when we have paid the embassy or visa processor.

    • 50% of the processing fee is refunded. If the final draft of the application has been shared with the applicant, the processing fee will not be refunded.

    • 100% of the government fee is refunded. If the application has been submitted to the government, the government fee is not refundable under any circumstances.

Passport Renewals

Up to 100% refund is granted if we have not submitted your application to the government.

  • Application in Review – We’re reviewing your application and will contact you if anything is needed

  • Action Required: Provide More Information – We’re waiting on additional details from you

  • Prepare for Shipping (USPS option only) – Your documents are being prepared for mailing but haven’t been sent yet

  • If there is a mistake on your new passport – We will proactively work with you to correct errors

A refund can not be granted when your application has been submitted to the government.

This means your application's status is either:

  • Waiting on Government (online option only) – Your application is now with the government for processing

  • Order Closed (online option only) – Your new passport is on its way

  • Order Closed (USPS option only) – Your USPS renewal package has been sent and will arrive soon

This applies to Standard, Rush, and Super-Rush processing times.

Overview of cancellation reasons

Your application may be cancelled for the following reasons:

  • Incomplete Information: If required details (such as purpose of travel, invitation letter, or travel proof with correct dates) are missing or not submitted on time, your application may be cancelled.
Tip: Carefully completing all required fields helps avoid cancellation and delays.

  • Duplicate Applications: If more than one application is submitted for the same traveler, duplicates may be cancelled to prevent redundancy.

Refund Eligibility

  • If your application is cancelled due to incomplete information or a duplicate application, you may qualify for a refund. Refunds typically take up to 14 business days (Monday–Friday) to appear in your account.

  • If your application has already been submitted to the government, iVisa cannot issue a refund.

  • If your application is rejected by the government, you won’t receive a refund unless you purchased Denial Protection with your order.
